Following are the Photographic records for the presence of Lineated Barbet (Megalaima lineata) in Similipal Biosphere Reserve. Observation highlights are:
- Usually seen in Winters
- Usually have been observed as sole individuals and not in groups
- Seen flocking in higher canopy and rarely comes towards eye level
- Very restless and usually seen disturbed on our presence.
- All the observations that we made have been in and around Tarinivila and Jamuna danda in UBK Range
